Land acknowledgement
Native American Pathways operates on the traditional lands of the Na:tinixwe (Hupa People). We acknowledge that this land is unceded territory of the Hoopa (Hupa) people. The Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation, home of the Natinixwe People, was established in 1864; however, the Hupa People have stewarded these lands since time immemorial.
We are honored to be part of the small handful of nonprofits serving on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation. We will continue to honor and respect this land and ”Our Home” forever. For more information about the Hoopa Valley Tribe please visit http://www.hoopa-nsn.gov
